Abstract
The aim of our research is the taxonomic and zoogeographic evaluation of the Oribatida fauna in some Palearctic and Tropical regions with compilation of their identification keys. Main goals are the followings: A.Maintenance of our 30 years old world Oribatida database. B.Compilation of new check-list and catalogues first of all for Madagascar, E-Africa and the Oriental region. C.Taxonomic revisions of little known Oribatid groups such as Oppioides, Scutobelboifes, Oribatelloidea, Galumnoidea etc. D.Compilation of identification keys according to taxonomic groups or geographical regions.
