Abstract
The objective of the project is the definition of a common European analytical framework to develop local environmental-environmental programmes. The project will identify the performances of different agricultural systems in relation to the conservation of biodiversity and landscape in 7 different countries through identification and assessment of agriculture impacts over ecosystems environmentalmultifunctionality, using ecological and environmental-environmental indicators at environmental -ecosystem/farm levels. Based upon this information a methodology will be developed to identify environmental-environmental targets and measures (e.g. regulatory and/or economic tools), to incentives the supply of environmental goods and services by farmers and to disincentives unsustainable agricultural practices. Pilot projects will assess the management feasibility of the analytical framework and tools proposed for environmental-environmental measures by local farmers and administrators.
