Abstract
Do±ana Biological Station provides the opportunity, unique in Europe, of carrying out studies at all levels of biodiversity (animal and plant populations, communities and ecosystems). Both study areas offered in our infrastructure, Cazorla and Do±ana, have a very important number of endemic species. The geographical situation of Andalusia, as a bridge between Europe and North of Africa, offers the possibility for European researchers to study many Iberian and African species.%L%LDuring the Scientific Research in Do±ana, the researchers will be provided with an office equipped with a computer, field transportation, use of field laboratories and lodging at the Scientific Reserve. The field unit of Cazorla is an isolated house situated in the Cazorla mountains at 1300 m a.s.l., with the necessary infrastructure for research (lodging, electricity by solar panels, 4x4 vehicles). If the researchers need anything else, in our Central office in Seville they could use all the facilities of a research centre (however, owing to limited space, access to our molecular laboratory will not generally be available to visitors).
