Abstract

GlobeEye provides a new, unique, and complete perspective on global economic, environmental, and social developments.Leveraging frontier technologies in space data and artificial intelligence, it delivers valuable insights for decision-makers in finance,business, and government. It contributes to overcoming out time’s major challenges, and arguably humanity’s greatest threats, ofclimate change, biodiversity loss, and natural capital depletion.In particular, GlobeEye is focused on developing next generation sustainability (ESG) metrics. Thanks to state-of-the art deep learningmodels, it combines satellite data with a vast range of remote sensing, ground-based, alternative, and observational data to generateunprecedented information sets and predictions. The result is independent, verifiable and actionable sustainability (ESG) indicators.ESG indicators have vast possible applications, both in the private and in the public sector, but are most crucial for green finance. Byproviding reliable data, GlobeEye enables and supports the transition towards green finance and sustainable investment decisions,risk management, and related regulatory efforts.Our Space4Earth proposal highlights how the Women Tech EU programme can GlobeEye step up to the next stage of growth andhow it comes at the perfect time for our development stage. The programme provides the needed funding, coaching and contacts totake the business planning and management steps to prepare the start-up for the next phase of funding and growth.
