Abstract
The project will investigate the effect of changes in woodland structure on priority woodland bird species. In particular the project will look at the effects of management practices (including cessation of management) and deer browsing on woodland structure and the resulting impact on woodland birds. The project will generate options for the management of woodlands for the benefit of declining and other priority woodland species.
