Abstract
The overall objective of the project is to provide baseline data on badger numbers against which to assess the impact of potential badger culling. Baseline data will also be collected on the numbers of fox, hare and hedgehogs in order to assess the ecological consequences of a potential badger cull. Incidental observations of deer on field transects will also be recorded.
