Abstract
Summary Objectives: To construct operational models of fishstock dynamics, taking account of climatically induced ecosystem changes as well as exploitation. Then to combine these models with economic models and predict the effort required to reach the optimal yield. Key Customer Purpose: To produce the tools necessary to determine the economically optimal level of exploitation of European ecosystems under changing climatic conditions while ensuring that the pressure exerted on both commercial stocks and susceptible fish species is biologically sustainable.
