Abstract
This research proposal is for an investigation to identify types and locations of coastal habitats at risk from effects of climate change, and to identify large scale opportunities for adaptive strategies presented by whole coastal systems, and development of a systematic consideration process leading to development of a framework and prototype tool for decision making and prediction of landscape and biodiversity characteristics of retreat sites under different scenarios of sea level rise.
