Abstract
The project aims to complete work initiated in Phase 1 that explored options and to produce an indicator of functional habitat connectivity, associated explanatory text and metadata for England and the UK, that includes an indication of trends since a base line and which will enable updates to the England Biodiversity Indicators and contribute to completion of the suite of indicators for reporting at the UK level to the Convention on Biological Diversity by March 2009.
