Abstract
Summary Objectives The scope of EMECO is from physics through biogeochemistry to fish, it will develop tools that will generate new information by drawing together the wide variety of data from monitoring and research, including models. This knowledge will be used to strengthen the evidence base for assessment of the eutrophication status in the UK. The infrastructure created by this work will also provide a platform to meet the requirements of assessing good environmental status. Key customer Purpose To promote agreement amongst national agencies responsible for providing advice to government on environmental status
