Abstract
Open Mosaic Habitats on Previously Developed Land (aka Brownfield) have recently been included in the new list of UKBAP priority habitats and species. This project aims to provide an agreed definition of this habitat type to aid ‘identification on the ground’; determine the extent, distribution and quality of all of the habitat in the UK and provide a comprehensive list of species of conservation importance associated with it.
