Abstract
To investigate and review the amount and different types of conservation and education work which zoos are currently undertaking in order to provide information on current levels and on what is considered reasonable and proportionate to the size of the establishment. To make recommendations to assist with setting minimum standards and to assist zoos in making their contribution to conservation as effective as possible.
