Abstract
Summary Objectives: To evaluate a number of treatments to be used as bio-security measures in controlling the spread of the invasive Shrimp (Dikerogammarus Villosus). Project aims include: to conduct a regulatory review on potential treatments in order to provide guidelines on their applications to be used against D. villosus; to conduct a literature review to identify an appropriate standard chemical to be used as a reference toxicant; and carry out treatment tests on one life stage of D.Villosus. Key Customer Purpose: To evaluate a number of treatments to be used as bio-security measures in controlling the spread of the invasive Shrimp (Dikerogammarus Villosus). This work is jointly managed by the Biodiversity Programme Bristol team.
