Abstract
Summary Objective: To maintain the collection and analysis of data on PIT tagged Atlantic salmon returns on the River Frome (SF0245), after the closure of CEH Dorset. Key Customer Purpose: Develop an understanding of how predicted changes in flow regime may modify established populations of juvenile salmonids in the wild, and investigate the potential impacts of theses changes in the freshwater environment on populations of both wild and stocked fish. Study the potential impacts of light pollution with the aim of developing an appropriate research programme to quantify the effects in salmonid and other freshwater fish populations.
