Abstract
Summary Objective To evaluate the performance of the economic link licence condition against public interest objectives, particularly the vision of a sustainable fishing industry contributing to coastal communities in 'Fisheries 2027'. Key Customer Purpose This project assessed the historic performance of the condition, whether it was likely to be fit for purpose in the future, and it set out options for improving its operation. It contributed to thinking on the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy.
