Abstract
Objectives It is known that as a result of natural processes, channels in coastal locations can migrate laterally shutting off routes suitable for navigation and causing shipping to use other approaches to ports etc. Key Customer Purpose This project will address the need for strategic advice to inform future rounds of offshore windfarm placement. A better understanding of the impact of naturally induced channel migration is needed in order to predict its occurrence and/or avoid areas where it is likely to occur.
